After 30 years working in our professions, we have accepted God's call to serve Him in long term missions in Nicaragua. Our prayer: that our lives and the work of our hands will bring questions from the Nicaraguan people for which our faith is the only answer.
Branching Out to Nicaragua
Rancho Ebenezer (RAEME) is our primary partner in Nicaragua. RAEME was founded in 1987 by six pastors, along with like-minded men and women, to say “here we are Lord, send me to restore your creation, send me to relieve the hunger of my country, send me to show your love through actions, send me to serve others as you did.” The primary purpose of RAEME is to empower rural families through knowledge, training and techniques to become self sustaining in food production on small acreage. Small groups of families are brought to the research/teaching farm. They are trained in production of small domestic animals (chickens, rabbits and goats), feed and food crops, while practicing restoration of the soils and reforestation. RAEME is proud to be founded by Nicaraguans, led by Nicaraguans and serving Nicaraguans. We look forward to continue working to teach their health care providers.
