Kelly Crowdis
Welcome to my web page. After a year of being blessed by working Stateside with the Student Ministry and Office I am excited to be back in Haiti. I will be relocating and moving from Les Cayes to Port Au Prince. I am sad to leave my friends but God has a new project for me working with the people in a very small village on the outskirts of Port Au Prince. I will be working with children and that is very exciting.
A Changed Life

My goal in serving the people is to provide them with education that will help them improve their quality of life. To do this I share the love of Christ through my work teaching them and helping them have healthy animals. The people of Haiti consider their animals their bank accounts. Having healthly productive animals helps them to have a better life.

Haiti is a country of great contrast. There is a lot of environmental damage but still there is great beauty. Some of the greatest beauty is in the wonderful people!

1/18/2010Kelly, I have been praying almost continuously for you and the others in Haiti. I watch the news alot to follow the progress of aid. I know God is in control and will strengthen and watch over you. He has already and will continue to do so as the horror of this event continues to unfold. Please know you and all the others are in my thoughts and prayers daily. I don't know when you will receive this but the heartfelt sympathy for those who have lost loved ones and those who are wounded is ongoing as are my prayers. May God Bless and keep you. In Christ Love JackieJackie Hardman

3/6/2009Hello Dr. Kelly, as I was researching ways to help Haiti I ran into your page. I am a student at Iowa State University, studying Hisory/political science education. I love school but I have only a year left, I am sad! I am originally from Haiti, but in 1997 a missionary brought me to the U.S. in adopted me. Thanks I am really greatful for. Now to make you smile, I see your profile picture on here of the boy holding the goat, he is my cousin Paulson Cadet. My Mother in Haiti is Antoinette Cadet, so I too is a Cadet. Right there, I knew right away God had sent you to provide for my village in LaCroix. I was saved because Pastor Pierre open his door of the mission to me. This I am most greatful for. Pastor Pierre is truly a man of God. After college it is my goal to return to Haiti and work alongside the mission to focus heavily on the children. Please check out my blog for more information on this. www.hothhaiti.blogspot.com. Wow, I cant wait to return to utilize my Lord and Savior to better the lives of the children. This is my goal, dream, wish and destiny and through all I wish to do God is leading the way. I hope you read this, so I can hear from you. You can email me at, silentor@iastate.edu Once again God Bless you for all you have done and continue to do for God and our brothers and sisters. May God always watch and protect you in all you do and wish to do. THANK YOU FOR PUTTING A SMILE ON MY COUSIN'S FACE!!!!Silentor Esthil (Cadet)

5/13/2008Hi Dr. Kelly, I am a vet in Canada and our church is supporting a small church in a small village in Haiti. We would like to supply them with goats and teach them about goat husbandry. Could you direct me to any sources of information that would help me prepare for this endeavour. We are planning on going to Haiti in February of 2009. Thank you kindly.
