The Janecke's
Bill, Heidi, Holly, & David
The Janecke's have been serving in Bolivia since January 2001. Prior to that, they lived in Kenosha, Wisconsin where Bill was in private Veterinary Practice for 13 years. Bill now serves as Veterinary Support Coordinator for World Concern - Bolivia. Heidi works with Talita Cumi Children's home. Holly, 18, is a freshman at Iowa State University. David, 17, attends Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center, is a fine guitar player, and helps lead worship at school and church.
World Concern - Bolivia
"Sharing Christ's Love
in Word & Deed"
Bill works with World Concern serving poor rural Bolivian families whose survival is linked to what they can produce with little land and very limited resources. World Concern provides training, technical assistance, and spiritual strengthening to these families as they work to improve the production of their small farms and seek strength, guidance, and perseverance through relationships with Jesus Christ.
Bill is also providing guidance and support to the development of VetRed, a project that is reaching out to Latin American veterinarians and students, sharing with them the God News of Jesus Christ, encouraging discipleship and the formation of Christ-centered fellowships throughout latin America, and equiping and mobilizing them to reach out to others through their profession.

Talita Cumi
Children's Home
"God's Little Ones"
Talita Cumi is home to about 30 abandon, abused or orphaned children ranging in age from 6 to 16. "Talita Cumi" from Mark 5:41, means "Child arise!" It appropriately sums up the strength and spirit of confidence and restoration the kids find in this loving, Christ-centered environment. Heidi is a board member and active in fund raising projects for the home. "Tia (aunt) Heidi", as the kids call her, is a daily witnesses of Christ's love to these great kids.

4/17/2010Greetings! Bill: What a blessing to meet you on the trip to el campo to see the Guarani communities. We now have a much clearer understanding of how to pray for your ministry. Heidi: Thank you so much for your hospitality and your lovely gift of the painting and the scarves. The painting is now located above our fireplace mantle. I have shared two of the scarves with friends, using them to share about your ministry with orphans May God continue to use you both to bless many - and may you be blessed along the journey, too.Mare Sullivan

9/8/2009Bill was my vet when I lived in Kenosha. I lost his patient, my cat Macaroni, last year at age 19 yrs. I will always remember Bill's concern for the animals in his care. I also remember the young Janecke family visiting Zap Entertainment, a laser tag/arcade just before they left for Bolivia. I truly enjoy hearing about their accomplishments and watching the kids grow up. You are a blessing to your mission.Mary Ann Livingston

1/18/2009Heidi, I couldn't find your email anywhere, so I thought I'd just post on here. Thank you so much for my hippo scarf, whether you knew to make it in my favorite color and verse or if that was a God thing I have no idea, but either way I was really touched by it. I have it hanging above my bed and school and it reminds me to pray for the kids. God's blessings on all of you! Also, hi Holly! My ears still haven't had any problems. :)Kayleen Mickelson
