Dr. Barry Schwenk, Southwest Region Rep I began my relationship with CVM as a student at Kansas State University in 1995. I was challenged in ways that have forever changed my life. I have had the privilege of participating in short term missions, CVM short courses, and student leadership ministry. After practicing in the US for 7 years, my family began service in Ethiopia. We began with veterinary ministry and then, over the next 6 years, God used us to establish schools, drill wells, plant churches, develop curriculum, and disciple leaders.

Dr. Roy Coolman, Midwest Region Rep (volunteer) My association with CVM dates back to when it was first started by Dr. Leroy Dorminy. I eventually became a state rep for Indiana. I retired from a small animal surgical referral practice in Jan of 2007 after responding to the call to help an organization called Project Mercy develop and expand a dairy cattle breeding program in Ethiopia, East Africa. Since 2006 I have traveled to Ethiopia 9 times as a CVM Associate to help get that project initiated. This has been a time of stretching with many rewards and challenges. Prior to that I had been active in missions in our church and had traveled to South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Kenya, Mexico, and Guatemala on short term mission trips.
