From the Student Outreach Director

Greetings from CVM!

Dr. Christian Tolman

My name is Christina Tolman and I am the Director of Student Outreach for Christian Veterinary Mission. It was in June of 2006 that the Lord led me to Seattle to begin full-time ministry work with the CVM family. Prior to this I graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 (War Eagle!) and then worked for two years in a mult-doctor small animal practice in Memphis, TN.

It was during my time at Auburn that the Lord used our Christian Veterinary Fellowship (CVF) meetings and the student Real Life/Real Impact weekends to help me understand His vision for veterinary medicine.  Veterinary school is not merely about academics or career vision – it’s about serving our Lord and living lives of worship in obedience to Christ.  I can’t tell you how excited I am and what a blessing it is to serve the Lord in this capacity by meeting people like you – students, faculty, and partnering veterinarians – who seek to become engaged in CVF groups across the US and around the world. You are all such a blessing!

Dr. Christian Tolman

It’s truly exciting to me that you are reading this because that likely means one of two things: 1) you are a veterinary student or 2) you are interested in CVM’s student ministry. If you are a student, please drop me an email!  I would love to hear from you and discuss upcoming student events.  If you are not a student, and have an interest in partnering with CVM’s student program, please contact me so we can discuss how the Lord may be able to use your specific gifts and talents to help strengthen this ministry.

May the Lord bless you as you seek to serve Him through lives of worship!

Partnering together in Christ,
Christina
